The longsword is ass in this game compared to dark souls 2, where it was my favorite weapon. Besides the dark sword, what is the new longsword in this game? I mained the longsword in ds2 mostly for the roll clipping one-handed R2's

Butcher knife is THE BEST early STR weapon.
Uchi shitters are a nuisance but thank god they haven't learned what the parry button is yet.
Also, is it just me or are Abyss Watchers the most disappointing boss in the game?

I bought a mace asap and I'veu sed it the entire game, upped it to Heavy and it's served me better than any other weapon, period.
Mace is the king of weapons, swords are for fucking edgefags.

If deacons had more HP it could be a really cool fight. Have you seen the crazy shit that happens when you let the fight drag out? Too bad the majority of players never see it because it's so easy to just wail the shiny dude down before anything happens.

Evil Eye and Gwynevere's cockband are wasted ring slots. Get Cloranthy and either Steel protection or FaP instead.
