There is no window for attack, once he is 50% hp or lower he goes in different stance and starts perma kicking-stomping + in combination with his regular attacks, you can't attack him at all.

Yeah. I think they key is to just take those hits, and try not to heal. The shoulder barge and kick don't do a lot of damage, but as soon as you try to estus you get stuck in a cycle of healing and getting punished. Notice that when I died I had 0 estus, and on the kill attempt I still had 10 left.
