There was a part on one of Hugs stream where he went over ESAM's false promises, and one of them included a match analysis for whoever voted him in, and when he calculated that it was like 2 years worth of match analysis he would have to do.

Based on your playstyle or persona, who were you, an Armada or a Mango?
I was a PPMD, played really adaptively, never really did more than what was necessary for a kill, but relatively weak mental game.

Don't loop me in with you. I respect that he was a strong Samus main but he's completely outclassed here and he has no reason to be a Summit. He let his position get in his head, and he's about to get bodied and tossed to the side. At least Duck still actively plays and is making more progress.

Hello guys.
I've been playing fighting games my whole life and just recently decided to invest a bit of time on smash since a couple guys from my scene said that I should try melee a bit.
Sure I've played smash before, but never invested more than a few minutes.
I decided to play Marth since he seems the more neutral heavy character and he feels like the most "natural" character to play with for me.
I'm having fun but I don't really think I use wavedash effectively. The only time I actually think I use it properly is after d.tilt>wavedash>d.tilt, any time other than that I feel like I'm just throwing it out there just because I can. I get the use of it on dashdancing and to get to the legde fast, but outside of those I don't really have a proper plan on where to use it.
Also who is the character that requires the most "mechanical" skill to shine?

Just keep trying to implement it and watching other people and you'll figure it out
Mechanical skill is a tough one. Probably Fox, Falco, or Peach, but the Ice Climbers require a lot of skill.

Learning how to add the basic advanced tech into your game comes with time, for now, just practice doing them consistently and when you play against another person don't try to think about winning.
Just focus on doing your movements correctly. Do some simple combos and get used to watching for DI when you land an attack and making good reads.
Your tech skill can never be good enough, practice practice practice til your hands fall off!

Project M may feel slightly worse, but overall it's an objectively better game than melee. It was understandable when meleefags didn't adapt to brawl/sm4sh because they were inferior games, but Project M is better in just about 98-99/100 ways and worse in 1 or 2.
There's no excuse. It doesn't help that Project M LITERALLY SAVED THE MELEE SCENE because VGBC GOT POPULAR ONLY WITH PM and WITH PM'S DEATH MELEEFAGS GOT A BIGGER AUDIENCE.
Meleefags are autistic as fuck for not adapting, GIMR deserves cancer, Nintendo should go bankrupt, and Smash 4 is the reason why Japan needs a third bomb.

As I understand it, the story goes like this
VGBC was the PM stream, they even did some big donation drive or something to help grow PM and VGBC. VGBC helped PM grow and PM helped VGBC grow.
And then they totally dropped PM without any explanation, we all know it was because Nintendo got involved, but nobody ever said so.
Ever since PM was dropped from VGBC, more and more other streamers started dropping it, it was the beginning of the end for PM.
Then a couple months later the dev team dropped everything, and PM was really dead.

VGBC were the first to drop PM before any other streamer did. Could have been because of Nintendo but them dropping PM as a preventative measure also seems likely. GimR did eventually deliver on releasing the Xanadu PM videos like 8 months later so I don't think he did it out of ill intention.
