PS+ on PS3 was just a ruse because it got introduced so late in it's life it was easy to give away big-budget games that had already made their money and since moved on. Zombi's been fun, though I will say that the WiiU version would be what I'd call the definitive edition, despite the graphical drawbacks. It's one of the few WiiU games I've played which used the Gamepad to full effect, and glancing between the inventory in my hands and looking at the TV to see whatever the fuck was sneaking up on me was far more visceral than the modified layout.

I've been subbed to PS+ basically since launch. Pretty much every one year period you'd care to select since launch, I've more than gotten my money's worth.
I can't pick a single one-year period from launch where I thought I'd been jewed out of my money for the games I got in return, even during the first year where the offerings were decent, but not great and it was basically just PS3.
Now that I have a PS3, PS4, and a TVita? I can't remember a single month since the PS4's launch where I didn't get one title on at least one platform which didn't occupy my time for at least a dozen hours or so, let alone shit that drags me in for hundreds of hours like Rocket League.
Outside of Humble Bundles or Steam Flash Sales, PS+ has been one of the most consistently worthwhile ways of getting gaming time versus dollars spent that I've come across.

Also, as I've stated, I've yet to have a bad year with PS+. Every year, I've gotten games I would have bought, gotten games I never would have bought but was delighted by, and all in all I've more than gotten my money's worth.
