I never ever get any responses on my answers, which is boring.
The problem is probably just that I leave fewer answers, and I get drowned out by people who leave more.
If a group of 10 people give ten answers and listen to 10 other answers, that leaves a huge number of unlistened questions. That seems to be the fundamental flaw of the app's "add as many people as you can!" approach.
I still use it daily to save up Platinum Points towards My Nintendo Picross, it only takes 20-30 minutes a day depending and I do enjoy it.
I'll likely drop the daily activity if the rewards don't shape up though. Some 3DS themes that don't look all that good, Miitomo bonuses that are useless, and discounts on games I already own aren't gonna cut it.

Don't get too hung up on Mii cosmetics anyway, it's not really worth it.
I just get whatever coins I can daily, and occasionally buy a shirt or something to expand my wardrobe.
