Why?
Because it uses delay-based netcode as opposed to the superior rollback-based netcode found in CCCaster (which isn't compatible with the Steam version since it's a Steamworks game). CCCaster is available for free and the game is easy to pirate. So naturally if one wants smooth lagless matches they would use the superior option, not to mention it's free.

Well, first of all, that guy's wrong, though just barely. CCCaster is a mix of delay and rollback netplay. The biggest benefit of this is that there is little to no input delay even when playing across large distances.

To just pick up and play, the BnBs of most characters are pretty simple. It's very neutral based where one hit can lead into strong pressure/oki. If you want to get more into it, there's a bit more to learn with the system mechanics between the different moon styles. However, a lot of mastering the game comes from mastering its neutral since it's pretty damn fast even when compared to other anime fighters.

Play the game for at least 2 hours after that steam trading cards should start dropping randomly. The number of card drops you get is half the amount of cards of the set. Collect all of the cards and then craft them into badge. You will get a random background and emoticon.

Fate route is considered the weakest of the three routes of FSN, since it focuses on infodumping the world on you and introducing the characters, while also trying to balance Shirou and Saber's relationship development (which the author considers to have been poorly handled)
UBW is shorter and better paced. Nice action sequences, though it focuses on Shirou's ideals and character more, which Fate probably gave an awful impression of. Some consider this the high point.
HF is slightlty shorter than Fate and has some awful pacing that picks up in the last few days, ramping up to the best action sequences in the whole VN (including two bad ends that are pretty much essential to read). Lot of thematic reversals and twists that are largely untelegraphed by the other two routes might overwhelm some.

It's not a second version, Actress Again is the sequel. ReAct was the first one and it has more of an actual story, it's a mix of VN with fighting game. Actress Again is the one that got the steam release and the only story mode it has is the arcade one where every character has a small story.
