Does Gear VR fix the gyro drift?
Cardboard is neat, but it fails for anything more than temporary use: gyroscope drift means that the picture/viewpoint will constantly shift, so the image slowly slides away from where you were looking.

No official, but headsets like the one in the OP work splendidly with iPhone. There's a wealth of free iPhone apps for vr.

It might just be down to individual phones. My phone supports cardboard but the gyro drifts; sometimes I'll sit down and the image will start floating away.
