The hardware is more expensive than consoles, but the games tend to be cheaper if you catch them on sale, which of course is why Steam is so famous, or infamous depending on how you look at it

You know, at first I didn't want to know this, but I'm actually okay with it. I mean, it's a lot of money, but this account is 11 years old. I mostly buy games during sales with maybe 5 AAA titles a year on top of that.
So, I'm not that disappointed. Surprise.

A lot of games that I have no hours in I have pirated, then decided they good and then bought them. XCOM, Euro Truck Simulator 2, GTA IV, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Metro 2033.

I have yet to buy The Witcher 3 despite playing it like three times. I'll eventually get it if a deluxe edition with the DLCs releases sometime next year. If not I'll just get the Season Pass and the game itself.
Only AAA release I enjoyed in 2015. Should've not bought ToddOut 4 and got The Witcher 3 instead, but TW3 was an unknown as it had been years since I last played the second one and didn't have too many pleasant memories from Flotsam. Even stopped playing TW2 for like a year and then got back into it when my friend convinced it gets a lot better after Flotsam.
