I am currently searching for a simulation/civilization/strategy/building game to play. This is what I've enjoyed so far:
>Europa Universalis IV, Civilization V & Beyond Earth, Black&White (I &II), Supreme Commander, Crusader Kings II, Mount & Blade (also Warband and tons of mods), Tropico 4
>Democracy 3 & D3: Africa, This War of Mine, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Game Dev Tycoon, Kerbal Space Program, Choice of Robots
>Minecraft (also Feed The Beast), Stardew Valley, Sim City
...and tons more I left out or forgot
Basically games where I can build whatever I want, make choices...
Any recommendation based on those games /v/??
Thanks

Have you tried Banished?
Kind of barebones but still somewhat good.
Stronghold: Crusaders, Knights and Merchants, Rimworld, Prison Architect, Warlock - Master of the Arcane, Dungeon Keeper, Eador, Age of Empires, King Arthur...

Yes, I forgot about Banished. I enjoyed it a lot but it gets repetitive quickly. Also tried Prison Architect but didn't get into it. I'll have a look at the others
Thanks!!

have you gotten a chance to play the Populous: The beginning?
one of the greatest strategy game to come out of bullfrog studios.

If you liked Kerbal Besiege might be up your alley
Also Victoria 2 for GS
You should really try master of magic if you have interest in fantasy 4X. It's really the best of it's kind.

I'll have a look but I have an issue trying very old videogames

tried Besiege but didn't see the point of it, will try Victoria 2

Factorio

Victoria 2 masterrace, Factorio has good ratings so maybe that.

I'm afraid to play it and end it feeling totally empty because the game looks like it has no goal or purpose other than build and build, but I guess I'll try

or a game that has d&d like universe but easy to control like ff?
