I played Splatoon with the motion controls off. Yes, the motion controls worked fine, and turning them off put me in a very bad disadvantage online, but I didn't care because playing it with a normal controller is more relaxing. I'll never be able to just chill out on the couch with Star Fox, and for that, the game and its motion controls can suck a fat one.
