Jeez, that's a lot of Dark Souls 3 threads. Can we have a Bloodborne thread for variety's sake? You know the drill, post your

Why do so many people fight the Starving Beast so hard? I had way more trouble with Ice King, or the Shadows, untill I figured out that you are supposed to kill the swordsman first.
>>334812886
>literally teaches you how to parry
Fucking this. Cleric beast was a joke even as the first boss.
Also Casgoine showed phases of the boss fights properly
>>334813158
Cleric Beast was the embodiment of "How to fight something huge", and was a good choice for the first boss. Also, as he jumped over the bridge and the music started playing, it makes you realise that you will see way more shit in Yarham than some men with weapons and werewolfs.
>>334813017
I got the shadows on my 3th try. I didn't know that they loose their shit and go rage mode all at the same time. Then I just tried to beat them at the same time.
Blood starved beast's poison was a fuckfest. I also had to improve my parry skills to make it easier. Took me ridiculous amounts of attempts to beat it.
>tfw the poison killed me right after I killed him
why did gehrman tried to kill you again? and why did killing you not actually kill you?
>>334813527
The only thing I died to during the Beast fight was his charge attack, FUCK THAT. It takes so much health and poisons you, so it was a one-shot for me.
>>334813630
To free you from the Nightmare. By killing you now, he ended your hinter contract, the one you signed in the beginning, so you just wake up in the real world.

>>334813630
>why did gehrman tried to kill you again?
He wanted to free you from being a Hunter, he didn't want you to end up like him. Basically the final fight with him is the both of you trying to save each other
>and why did killing you not actually kill you?
Because you didn't willingly give in.
>>334814123
>>334813630
>why did killing you not actually kill you?
The contract you made at the start of the game forced you to fullfill what you're supposed to (obvious part of contracts)
Your physical body is actually in the hunter's dream. As soon as you entered the real world you were actually dreaming and if you die you just wake up in the hunter's dream and try it again at the gravestones which are the connections to the lamps in the real world.
>why did Gehrman try to kill you again?
Since you fullfilled your part of the contract you had to get free. Gehrman had a contract/pact with the moon presence so I guess he was forced to.
What stats should I go for to use the Moonlight Blade the best? Dump everything into arcane?
>>334814326
STR/ARC is the best way to go
>>334813630
If you listen to his extra dialogues he's begging for help to be freed from the dream, yet he still tries to rescure you from it
Is there gonna be a sequel or something ffor the vilebloods and pthumerians?
>>334814495
Man, Gehrman wad such a nice guy. I was always a sucker for sad music during epic fights, so the first time I got him to half of his health and the second part of the song kicked in, I legit lost bcause I teared up. Call me a pussy all you want, but I felt so sad for the old guy.

Easily Vicar Amelia, I've died to her more times than any other boss in the game. But more than that I've had a harder time with those chubby blood filled grasshopper dudes outside Cainhurst and the Insight sucking kin than most of the bosses.

Those tiny little guys with the rapiers in Cainhurst castle. He caught me by surprise because every other small enemy like that up to that point was all '''AAAHHH IMA GETCHA!", and he was really dignified and capable with that weapon. I can never get over how cool those little guys are.
Just finished Bloodborne main game. Really enjoyed it.
Should I DLC first or Dark Souls 3?
>>334814746
He's the only actual nice guy (besides Sif) who bears you no ill will. Everything about that fight was perfect. It was literally both you trying to save each other from a horrible fate.
>>334815156
BB Dlc is the best thing in entire series
>>334815014
I can understand The Blood-starved Beast, but what's so hard in Amelia? I've beaten her on my 4th try using bolt paper.
>>334814856
The Yarnham desease always starts in the right leg that's why you use your bloodvials on the right (just noticed 2 days ago or so that you actually inject it on the right leg and also noticed that most hunter gear has bandages on the right leg. Probably to suppress so the desease doesn't go further)
Probably the moment where the moon presence hugs you is also some kind of infection to it.
>>334815156
The DLC will rape you in NG+. But if you're good enough then do the DLC first before jumping into DaS III
>>334810492
My favorite boss is the loading screen.
Father Gascoine was absolutely terrifying the first time. When he transforms I pissed myself. Second time I just visceraled him into oblivion.

Well now you gotta replay the game because the DLC will tear you a new one with your current stats.
>>334815264

Oh boy, I'm just planning to buy it after beating Gherman for the first time. What's the recommended level?
>>334815479

>>334815360
What a fresh and relevant meme! :-)
>>334815550
80-100
>>334815550
Level 45-50 would be a good start for the DLC. Don't worry about your weapon because the DLC will throw a lot of twinshards and chunks at you.
>>334815696
>couldn't beat Ludwig

I think the pizza cutter is ez mode
I'm on NG+
Any tips on how to beat second phase Micolash?

It is, but it doesn't make it any less fun

It takes forever to chip away at Blood Starved Beasts hp.
Then again I'm using whip so that might have something to do with it.

If you use whip mode then it should deal good damage since it's weak to serration.

Guys. Serious question. I'm thinking about buying a ps4 just to play bloodborne. Of course I'd get a few more games for it down the line, but bloodborne is the main motivator here.
Should I do it?
>>334817485
Bloodborne's great, but if you don't even have e other specific games you're looking forward to them that's just stupid.
>>334810492
>Ludwig
>Don't really know, I did spend 18 hours on NG+6 LVL4 Ludwig though
>Chikage or Whirligig Saw
>Gehrman

>>334817485
Try get it cheap of course, I did the the same thing but I also wanted to try EDF, Last of Us and Dark Cloud remasters, what annoys me now is that I dont really play BB anymore, but Id say I got enough time out of the game to warrant the price I paid for it. Ive spent more money on things I didnt like really.
If you can get the console for cheap go for it, but at least try to find some other games you want to try for the system too.
>>334817831
>>334817620
I was thinking of getting the uncharted ps4 that comes with all the uncharted games. I've never played any of them and I thought this would be a good chance to do so. Besides that there's persona 5, but I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head.
>>334816237
so why the fuck is everyone having difficulty with bsb, i beat it the first time i played bb, not even good at souls, genuinely curious
>>334817951
Well there you go, youve got a series of games to play if you get one. Again, try get it cheap, I bought one for £220 with MGSV. They are out there.
what's best build?
>>334817984
I guess they cant see through the erratic movement of those gangly bits to see wither or not its attacking or just moving so dodge preemptively. I sit outside the boss and still get summons to this very day. Honestly dont know.
>>334816114
Those things are the fucking worst enemy From has ever created. Dying a million times of Orphan of Kos felt fine because dying to him I could understand where I fucked up, but those shark fuckers were perfectly engineering to fuck with everything you've been taught up to that point AND THEN MIYAZAKI HAD THE NERVE TO PUT TWO OF THEM AT ONCE THE ABSOLUTE MADMAN.
>>334815479
Not?
Ever noticed that Gehrman lost his right leg? Just look closer, the reason why he's in a wheelchair is because he cut off his right leg.
No right leg, no disease
