Yes, even ps1 emulates well on my pc, but I really want pc games that I missed and that I should have played. I´ve already completed the first Half Life (with the two expansions), Hitman 2 and Contracts, Unreal 2004, Far cry and a lot more. I´m not into RTS and stuff like that.

The dual core isn't bad for web surfing. Try to get 4gb ddr2 and a 2gb gpu and you'll be able play games up to 2012 and some recent games.

Just how old? If you're on an AGP system like me, you can probably upgrade that to a 6800 GT, Pentium 4 3.06ghz and 2 GB ram. With that setup, you should be able to run something along the lines of Fallout New Vegas on low to medium settings with little framerate drops..

I guess a bigger number isn't always better. According to game debate, your CPU is over 400% better than the Pentium 4 3.06ghz I'm using but your graphics card is over 150% worse than my 6800gt. Consider going to ebay and find a better gpu and more ram for cheap.
