Am I the only one here who thinks that Bloodborne is the most perfect work when we talk about Miyazaki's games? It's so damn good. It has very powerful moments (like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rLtdiFaV8k) and interesting themes.
The lore to Bloodborne was great, with all the weird themes of blood, menstruation, pregnancy, rebirthing, etc.

there are things i like the most about bloodborne like the setting and themes. i really enjoy the cohesive style and the fact that the game takes place mostly in a big city. i even liked the fewer but more unique weaponry.

At first I liked dark souls 3 more but after sinking more time into it I think Bloodborne is the better game. DaS3 just focuses way to much on difficulty and putting the player into extreme circumstances. It's enemies are too erratic and borderline unfair sometimes and its bogged down in references and stupid nonsensical boss fights.
At least BB was structurally sound in what it was, and delivered a challenging game without turning into a meat grinder

If you go to Mergo's Loft Middle with one of the runes that gives you more blood echoes equipped, you can get like 70k souls by killing the enemies between there and the boss area. Higher level chalice dungeons also give you a ton of echoes.

w-wait. I know it's all subjective opinions and all but why are BBs NPCs so low? Right on the first mandatory boss you get a branching questline with his daughter and a story-related item that actually affects gameplay.
Choosing where to tell NPCs to go also impacts their line/lives, not to mention a fuck ton of other interpersonal interactions and how the various phases of the night affect each one of them.
The Doll also had the most love put into her out of all the firekeeper-style characters, especially with the DLC.
What I don't get the most from your list is that DaS3's in first place. Do you like obnoxious fanservice and returning characters for no reason? Firekeeper almost word for word recites the Maiden in black. Andre is there because "remember him, guys?", and so is the dead DaS1 giant blacksmith and DaS2's ladder builder, whatever his name was. I think it's no exaggeration to say half of all living and dead NPCs in DaS3 are returning characters or obvious nods to them (item seller lady heavily resembles an old hag from DeS2, for example) DaS 3 NPCs have almost no personality of their own.
Why do sonyponys push this shit so hard. Just admit there's no reason to own a ps4 now that DS3 is out.
