When it comes to Zelda, there's still a shit load of settings, items, enemies, heroes and villains they could be using. The real headscratcher comes from the fact that they chose Marin.
The only reason Hyrule Warriors is even getting more DLC is because of the 3DS version and the future rumored NX port, though frankly, I feel like they're beating a dead horse at this point.
Hyrule Warriors is the literal digital definition of busy work. I borrowed it off a friend (thank god) and the first ten hours had me thinking about buying the first wave of DLC, but by twenty hours in, I was glad I didn't, 'cause after the ten hour tutorial that is the game's story, you get to do the maps, and those aren't just tedious, but you can't even finish them without grinding the genuine damage dealing beasts that come stock with the game to 100, and the ones that don't require a level 120+ minimum backed by strong tier 3 weapons.
Which wouldn't be so bad if grinding levels wasn't a huge fucking chore, and 'training' your characters past level 25 to compensate for not playing them regularly wasn't exorbitantly expensive. Similarly, if you're not running the DLC, the level with the best grinding potential literally requires you to grind out Gold Skulltulas in the story, and at your most efficient, with good, strong magic meter usage and having a strong enough AoE from your normals to kill shit, you can only get about three or four levels from it.
But if you have the first wave of DLC, there's a map with a stage that lets you get several levels in half the time.

Right, but as someone who got the wiiu game when it came out, a lot of that content is recycled. I've played the same layout of that one open the centre gates twilight palace a hundred fucking times and would be happy if I never had to again.
