Everyone complaining about the design choices and actually saying FFXIII was better in that aspect fucking piss me off to no end. FFXIII's designs were so over the top and sci-fi that even the summons and other recurring FF elements were in name only and hardly felt like a FF game, especially with the lack of exploration. But all the designs for FFXV are based on classic FF enemy and creature designs and actually look organic and grounded.
Besides, the whole road tripping and camping is simply a different take on the exploration of older games where you'd stop at an inn or village. The fact that there's a world to explore and actual towns and cities and sidequests, all that alone makes me happy.

Yeah, FFXIII was just too far out there to resemble anything that felt Final Fantasy. The setting had potential but the monster and summon designs looked almost nothing like the classic designs. With FFXV they're sticking to the classic look for the summons and monsters and they look great.

At first, I thought it was just meming, but that's possibly a side effect of being here. When I browsed other boards and was unaware of what went on here, I actually enjoyed games.
As long as it keeps the visual quality of Episode Duscae I could care less about grafix. You know what the best part about this game is? Even if XV single-handedly kills the series sales-wise (it won't), We'll always have this fantastic Comfy Road Trip Simulator With Bros. And Chocobos 2016. I can't fucking wait to play it.

Of the protagonists Squall looks the worst. But the rest of the team look pretty alright.
It's almost the inverse of 7. Where Yuffie looks good, Cloud looks sort of ok, and then everyone else look terrible.
And 15 is just the most boring one hands down. I guess there is no one outright terrible, but the fact that all of them are equally boring and that they all look the same just makes it the worst for me.
