Literally impossible in DS3. Heal is almost instantaneous, and any amount of distance is enough to get off a heal. The only way to stop it is to be already in an attack animation when someone tries to heal. The only way to stop it is with the talismans, but like I said, the faggots just run away until that wears off. And killing someone who's running away as a melee character is next to impossible.

I just took one of the Jap sliders and modified it. Complexion and cosmetics are unchanged from it. I made the cheeks, jaw and area thin, but not too think because it'll turn out very masculine. I did the lips sliders last since so many other sliders effect them.

The opposite is just as likely to happen, except it's even worse on that side. Hosts just sit at the bonfire and summon phantoms all day even though they have more health than you and 2x the estus.
Plus, if an invader tries to run you through mobs and you don't feel like waiting him out/sending wave after wave of phantoms after him, you can use a seed of giant tree and fuck him over even harder.

I really like this game but the fucking weapon situation is garbage, there's literally no reason to use slow weapons because longswords are faster, do more fucking damage and take less stamina. It's complete bullshit. It's incredibly apparent in PvP. They need to either nerf longsword damage or buff greatswords.

Any tips for the old demon king? Dude's kicking my ass. The best strategy so far seems to just two hand and charge in like a maniac with carthus beacon attuned, pontiff's eye rings equipped and the grass crest shield slung on my back. I've tried fighting him so many times and I'm not sure what to do. Tried using flash sweat and iron flesh and both feel kinda ineffective.

I haven't played a spellcaster build but from what I've heard the early game spells aren't nearly as strong/cheesy as before. They require a lot of stamina and FP to use for not that great of damage.

In DS3, your Int/Faith scales better at much higher levels than would be possible early on; the new Int/Faith softcap is 60 before you start getting diminished returns. Expect a hard fucking run unless you switch builds and reallocate once you've got far enough into the game.

I found a sweetspot where I'm immune to Sully's combos. Also I can cheese the shadow with fireballs. He's still challenging, sure, but with all the hype was expecting him to ravage my ass forever until I've got his combos memorised.

Huh. Guess I'll try magic against the shadow this playthrough; on my greatsword run Sully was by far the hardest boss for me because the window of timing to hit him and not get sideswiped or smacked by the shadow is so tiny. Only reason I end up winning against Sully is if I can take out his shadow before it can do any real harm.
OIK is all about learning the timing for his AoEs. Are those circles of fire he casts giving you trouble? I've only ever fought him twice because I've never died to him so I don't really know where to give advice one what might actually be difficult.

I've been invading in the Grand Archives for a while now because I've had some fucking amazing brawls there.
My most recent escape was a 1v3 where I basically hid around corners antagonizing them as much as possible.

that's how invasion works in this game if you want to win. If you actually try to "fight" you're pretty much fucked because it's 3 or 4 vs 1.
It's very easy to win by taking advantage of the landscape, mobs, and the host stupidity, though. That's how you need to do it.

Shit, never thought to try Gundyr's Legs with the Nameless King torso. I love the chestpiece but so few things fit with itI really just like the scarf/neckpiece that goes on it, wish more armour had that.

tl;dw: Armor matters much, much less in Dark Souls 3. As long as you have something (fucking anything, even tiny cloth pieces) equipped in every slot, you might get the same damage reduction as Havel's dpending on how much damage is being done to you.
Which is especially good to know considering how many people use small weapons in PvP. Also of note is that you probably shouldn't infuse your weapons with anything that splits damage, since both types of damage then go through reductions making them significantly shittier than pure physical ones.

Yeah, I think that's a major issue with their current system. Poise is also significantly less useful which means heavy armour is almost totally pointless unless you're up against something with a big weapon. It means that Vitality is worthless, since unless you're hellbent on wearing heavy armour for their looks you should just put those points into Vigor since taking more hits is much more useful than taking barely less damage.
