League of Explorers was a perfect way to emphasize control decks in an otherwise completely stale aggro-focused meta.
Reno, Elise, Brann, and Finnley all encourage really creative plays and creative deck building.

The effect stays, and you get a little indicator showing which card is Zerus. Once you play it, though, you commit to the transformation and lose the switching effect.
in big boy card games control beats aggro, aggro beats combo, and combo beats control. blizzard won't allow combo decks to exist in hearthstone and control doesn't really have the tools it needs to actually work, so you end up with a retarded metagame that's a see-saw of aggro and anti-aggro decks.
