Vesperia, Xillia 1, Xillia 2, Graces F were only about 40 hours. Graces F does get the F arc which gives it another 20 hours though.

I don't give a shit about seamless battles and more people in battle. Those are trivial when the core gameplay is still the same. SO2 and SO3 always had 2/3 main attacks and 2 skills per range. Same shit with SO5 but now you can guard normally compared to Fury Guard which you had to charge up and get cancel bonus' from normal attacks. It was a clunky mess especially in SO3 whenever you did an up attack and make the enemy fly. You would end up spamming the same skills like sidekick + air raid or shotgun blast or something with Fayt whenever you are near the enemy. SO5 has an extreme lack of skills and your MP is so much that you can spam forever. Just watch the fight with the ethereal queen. Fidel just spams that reverse gauge special of his cause it does the best damage. As for Tales, Zestiria was a mess but Xillia 2 really improved on the battle system compared to the other titles. Vesperia was great also. You have 30+ skills for the MC compared to Fidel's measly 8 which are all from SO3. It's much more fluid and you can chain attacks and go for long combos. I don't understand what people like about SO's battle system. It is so barebones.
