Max Payne had already done it, all my friends rolled their eyes and called it sand-nigger bullet time.
That said these games came out while I was playing a Paladin in WoW before damage meters, so I would /follow and play prince of persia in between boss fights

I just got a glitch that prevents me from going into a time portal near the end. i'd have to restart and i'm not going to bother. so many stupid audio glitches as well.

How the fuck was it "ahead of its time?" It starred a unlikeable, edgy cunt and had Godsmack music; it was very much a product of its time.

I think that the Metal Gear Solid games were severely ahead of their time and a good example of """cinematic""" games done right, even though people on here might not agree with me, which is alright. But that is what I think.

The PSP version is bullshit with all of those extra platforming sections. I'm literally stuck in the water section. I been stuck on it for two weeks. I'm not playing this shit anymore.
