Anyone who let's things like this offend them enough to have them removed should maybe choose another hobby. There's nothing wrong with being offended by this. If you as a character, or person, wouldn't cross yourself, then you shouldn't be made to do so, virtual or otherwise. If it was a setting in the game, like "Check this box to have the option to cross yourself at the end of a match", then fine.
I mean, I wouldn't want my character's victory animation to have a 1 in 10 chance of setting himself up in a chair, whipping it out, while a black man rides in on top of a stretch Escalade fucking my wife, as my character proceeds to beat it furiously.
