don't think it's by and far the best jrpg but it's an exceptional game with great production values and good pacing. doesn't do anything extraordinary but it's a well made kid's game
remember first playing it when it was released on ds I was unimpressed and didn't like it until reaching antquity. on a recent playthrough (a year ago) come to appreciate the earlier parts of the game, how well it flows
