That's not the original, that's Puyo Puyo 2, whose mechanics have persisted in every Puyo game up to the most recent one. In fact, the only kind of Puyo Puyo available in said most recent game (Puyo Puyo Tetris) is Puyo Puyo 2's mechanics.

I'm a little upset since I already bought 5/7 of these games on the eShop, but I really really want M2's remaster of Puyo Puyo 2 so i'll buy it. The sega decals it comes wiht ain't bad either

Not counting the mobile phone ports of Sonic 1 and 2 the 3D classics are literally the best versions of these Sega games you can buy. Not to mention Fantasy Zone 2 is a complete remake using Fantasy Zone 1's tech (the original FZ2 was made for weaker hardware)

Have you been living under a god damn rock? Taxman and Stealth's Sonic 1-2 and CD remasters are the golden fucking standard for how a remaster/port should be. THEY BROUGHT BACK HIDDEN PALACE ZONE IN SONIC 2 FOR GODS SAKE.
Also elemental shields as an option in Sonic 1 and 2 along with BOTH Sonic CD soundtracks as an option with the proper spindash in Sonic CD. There's way too many good things to list.
