Where are you talking about, anon? The atmosphere's right there in front of you. In fact that's what kept me playing because the combat wasn't very good this time around. Looking through the environment and enjoying how internally consistent it is, all incredible-looking gothic scenery and areas like the Irityhll dungeon which were genuinely spooky made me overlook the game's numerous flaws.
