Anything with enough determination.

You can beat any game in one sitting if you are dedicated enough.
Any game can be beaten in one sitting if you're a fat virgin
Maybe you're looking for short games?
I've beaten Portal, HOTD Overkill, Medievil, and probably a bunch of indie games I can't remember
>>334642126
Dragon quest VII

Try beating an 100+ hours game in 1 sitting, you would go crazy.
>>334644040

>>334644663

>>334644663

>>334644686
someone should try beating all of the xeno games in 1 sitting, without skipping all of the text, cutscenes and grinding

Man, OP, you just reminded me. It's that time of the year to go back and replay 2.
>>334644986

The longest video game marathon on record is 138 hours help by a woman from California
And yes someone has died marathon gaming, after a 40+ hour marathon to beat the record an 18 year old passed out then died.
Guinness changed the rules so that you can accumulate breaks so people dont die and shit
Every game after 2011
>>334642126
I beat this in under five hours on my first play through
>>334643704
The ending made me burst out laughing.
>>334645081
Every few months, I have to go back and replayMega Man X. Sometimes evenMega Man Zero 3.
>>334645184
I have 30+ ToS playthroughs since 2004. many are 100% collectors runs with all three flanoir items on mania. Its my annual Go-to game.
Phantasia is close behind at 18, Abyss at 12, and Vesperia at 9. Destiny R, rebirth, innocence and Eternia have 3. Graces, Xillia and hearts have 2.
Only Zesteria, Tempest and LEgendia have been played once.
>>334645598Perfect taste
>>334645706
wow.. I cant decide if this is some whole new level of dedication or autism.I never played a Tales game, would you recommend me your most played one? Now you've got me interested
Still havent answered my question about the playtimes but with those many replays I can believe that you migh be able to speedrun the game without many problems.
>>334646028
Symphonia is great if you grew up with it, or you can appreciate older mechanics. Vesperia is the most well liked, but I'd advise not playing those first. Once you play them, you'll never want to go back to the older systems, you won't appreciate them.
I'd recommend Eternia or (if you can into jap) Destiny R as good starting points.
As for the question, on average my playtime amounts to about 24-27 hours a play nowadays, my older ones were 120-190 hours.
It helps knowing everything and where to go.
>>334645081
Literally played and beat it last night. I have to say 4 is my favorite but 2 is amazing.
FTL
Hotline Miami 1 and 2
>>334646334
Pretty cool, and as for the older rpg mechanics, I grew up with older FF games and I still play nowadays many RPG with really basic mechanics so it wouldnt be a problem at all, but I never really tried Tales games at all, not sure why.
I'm kind of interested in Symphonia, I might try it out.
Thanks anon.
mega man 1 will always be my fav I'm weird
I was pissed when I did too
>>334642126
Most SNES and NES games, but I came here to post Super Metroid.
>>334646884
How?? Megaman 2 is better in every single way.
Would you mind explaining what makes you like Megaman 1 the most??
I'm interested.

No problem.
Keep in mind, Tales of is an action battle system. It uses the Linear action motion battle system, and has you physically attack in real time.
Example:
2D Tales (linear) The first game in the series
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVPrt25t7XE
Symphonia, while 3D modeled, is still a 2D battle system with dynamic camera, observe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOH-C6eyjfU
3D Tales (Radial) Considered best in the series
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfgjFzsh-kg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeayzhWODK0
3D Tales (Cross) Newest installments
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC8HBkMt30I
The system evolved quite a bit over time.
Last time I beat a game in one sitting? About a year ago I pulled an all-nighter beating Onimusha for the first time. It's hard to find the time to sit and play games. I've been off the last week so I've put like 18 hours into Twilight Princess in the past 4 days.
>>334647070
probably because it's the only one I'm very good at, as a kid I used to play it all the time. I also really like the challenge, the wily stages are brutal and still give me trouble.
mostly just nostalgia though
Sin & Punishment
>>334647343
I like legendia, But not enough for a second play. Its cast is awesome, but its just not interesting enough to me for a multi run. Maybe in a few years or so.
>>334647991
>saving that picture
pretty neat and thanks!
>>334648241I'm the one who made it for you
>>334647583
It looks really interesting, is everysingle attack done in real time like you said instead of selecting the attacks before hand?
If so it seems pretty cool and diferent from the usual turn base with a twist.
>16
What did you mean by this?
>>334648315
>16
Posting error, I don't know why my phone does that.
You've played smash right? it plays the same.
Attacks are A.
Move 1 is B
Move 2 is B Up
Move 3 is B Down
Move 4 is B side
And you can set more moves to each direction of the C-stick as well as customize existing moves and replace them as you go.
>>334648307
Oh! If I didn't thank you before I do really appreciate you doing that for me.
>>334648535
No problem, you're an inspiration to us Tales fans in some ways haha.
I'd honestly love to give legendia another go, but Its hard to slog through its combat for me, especially when you run out or Crystal eres and have to backtrack. I dunno. I love Legendias cast, and I think the story is neat, but its just not enjoyable as a game to me.
The fact you've done it so many times astounds me honestly.
>>334648518
Oh wow thats pretty fucking nice, after this Persona 3 run I'm certainly going to play a Tales game, probably Symphonia.
>>334648684
Thanks man!
I've just grown attached to the characters so I can overlook most of its flaws I suppose and I actually really enjoy the battle system. I love that it plays like a beat 'em up/brawler which is probably my favourite genre.
However, I get it I really do.
>>334648918
Sounds good. Persona 3 was a heck of an experience for me. Symphonia is a good place to start. Keep in mind, Phantasia is actually a pseudo sequel, so if you ever decide to go back, its neat to see the parallels.
>>334648964
Ha nice, met heather huh? I work con staff, so I've met a few myself, my personal favorite being Patrick seitz for his voice work on Dhaos, and James Arnold Taylor for his voice work on Yggdrasil.I also have family ties with the VA for Tenebrae, which absolutely floored me when I learned of it.
Soundtrack is ace as well
