What went wrong?
Is the fad already over?
It's barely even begun yet. And it's unfair to judge it so early.
There aren't going to be any good games for it this early on.
where are all the good games for vr?

Once it proves to be legitimately profitable, that shit will be all over gaming media, in advertisements and paid reviews. Until then, it's still little more than fancy gimmicky tech.

On PSVR, the only device that won't flop

In the distant future. It's brand new technology.
It took Mario 64 before 3D games really started to become great. Eventually there will be a Mario 64 of VR. In the meantime people will try to figure it out.
VR needs the following types of game:
>Indepth auto repair and tuning
>Games like that bomb defusal indieshit
>Flight sims
>Animal crossing-esque comfy titles without a lot of quick jerky movement
>City builders
>RTS
They may have blown it already. SDE and low FOV on the first consumer versions is bad. They should have waited for 4k displays and Pascal/Polaris. Oculus should have shifted with motion controllers, and the price should have been $700.

You're the kind of guy that says "ONLY T-TEN PERCENT OF DISTRICTS R-REPORTING!!" every time Bernie gets BTFO in a poll.
virtual boy got 5 months before it was discontinued. lets at least give it that much time.
If it had fucking games it wouldn't flop so hard, like we all joked about the PS3 but this literally Has No Games™
