It probably was undershipped to an extent. I ordered my copy from Amazon the 14th and they said at first it wouldn't ship until early to mid May but got an update the next day saying I would get it next week.

fuse is shit and one of the most depressing games to play cause before the focus testing the game had so much potential as overstrike, sunset overdrive is really fun but one of their worst written games and tries way too hard to be funny.
ratchet and clank remake is the game that returned my confidence in them as a developer after it was dwindling a bit, insomniac has always been one of my all time favorite developers but since resistance 3 and crack in time they havent really been the same.

I've heard alright things about Sunset Overdrive, but you also have to have a tolerance for "So randumb" humor since that's what most of the game has. I remember people complaining it was a bit slow as well.
I've heard nothing but bad things about Fuse though, absolutely nothing. Apparently its only shining point was it had the creative weapons Insomniac is known for, but that's about it.
Sunset Overdrive is on GWG right now, so if you own an Xbone then you might as well get a 3mo Live sub for it.

I think there were low expectations. Modest marketing for the game (most of the focus on the movie), and a $40 price tag didn't really say confidence. Now GameStop and Amazon are having shortages because it's getting great reviews and then the movie will probably bring in younger players soon. Better start printing.

I played a little Sunset Overdrive at PAX a few years back. The humor wasn't funny, the performance was bad and the game felt bizarrely slow for how fast it wanted you to feel. The weapons were also highly underwhelming and critically lacking in a staple boring but useful weapon, leaving you trying to work out the quirks of whatever epic random version of a gun you had ammo for when you really just needed to shoot a dude.

I been playing it, and I think it's fun.
Only pet peeve is the forced missions of the fucking Tower Defense.
I hate Tower Defense, yet some missions make me protect a base, and I'm limited to how many traps I get and only a few barricades.
I rather do missions where I go and kill shit, not protect shit.
The humor is somewhat meme-tastic and lolsorandumb doesn't bother me much.
One mission the dude you talk to doesn't respond and then he goes, "Oh sorry, I was on Reddit."

Resistance 3 seemed to have a pretty conclusive ending. It was kind of a shitty ending, but conclusive. For a future Resistance game they'd have to set it at a different point during the war with a different set of characters.
