Yeah, I am. Just played through ico, and planning on playing Disgaea 4 soon. A lot of people forget that all PS1/PSX games can play on any model PS3, which expands the library as well.

I enjoyed it, I got my money's worth, and besides my huge ass backlog of PS3 games I'm mostly playing PS1 and PS2 Classics on my PS3. I'm thinking of buying another one if they ever go cheap as insurance if the one I have craps out on me. You wouldn't believe how much brand new PS2 costs these days, I imagine the same thing will happen to the PS3.

Clunky OS, crashing everywhere, stupid installs everywhere, slow as fuck downloads, awkward online store, piss poor online experience, lack of any good games until 2008-9, no Japanese developer support, poorly optimized ports, removing BC, can't change your online name, anti aliasing didn't exist, washed out colors and it was expensive as fuck.
This console was hell, and I'm glad mine bricked 3 months ago because the only memorable game I had for it was Demon Souls and Valkyria Chronicles out of 17.

I had a fat 80gb model and it always had a fucking problem crashing or not deleting things properly. I did take good care of it since it lived since 2008 to 2016.
But I'll rephrase one thing: Not enough Japanese developer support* or even good Japanese games for the matter since PS3 was so balls to the wall weird to develop they made 360 games instead.

Without homebrew, it's a solid console. Good games, PSN helps out with playing old PS1 games as well as PSP remasters.

I got around to buying a super slim after my fat silver ps3 died around 7 years ago.

Last gen was awful when devs started running out of memory, causing the systems to crash on newer games.

Persona 5 is a PS3/PS4 multiplatform. Atlus committed to years of R&D of the game's engine on the PS3 platform.
