Yeah it had a nice presentation throughout, it just struck me as being as silly as a typical action movie or anime with all the cheesy emotional moments. For example the wedding massacre was really cool to play through (dat bloody tux), but the preceding missions where you help them set it up in a lighthearted and hopeful light almost immediately told me "people are going to die at or before this wedding" because I've seen the same exact "calm before the storm" setup a billion times already in Asian media and American action movies. The writing just seemed really transparent to the point that the story felt about as connected to my playstyle and emotional state as Pokemon. I'm not saying it's BAD, it just struck me as funny that it has some of the most foreseeable plot progressions outside of a Melissa McCarthy movie when so much of the plot weighs on betrayals and disloyalty.
