"Best" is arguable, but that's not the hypest. C'mon, Serpent has ALL the character themes mixed into it. You can't get more hype than fucking leitmotifs.

Surprisingly hype for a Kirby game, but the BEST part is at 0:47 because it is Kirby's own theme bursting out of the gloom of the rest of the track, squaring off with it, and returning to despair, only to have it pick up again. It is not only a hype track (for a DS game), but it also characterizes the fight with its composition. That is fucking hype.

I concede. You are right. Leitmotifs do make Serpent a much hyper track. Also that Kirby music is pretty gud.

- This one is a bit of an oddball, since it comes from a Touhou fangame of all things. But it's probably my favorite of the bunch. It has a certain tone of desperation to it, an urgency to act. The world is ending after all, and it's up to a SINGLE PERSON to prevent, or even delay the catastrophe against all odds. It's a beautifully composed piece.
