Does "so bad it's good" apply to video games?

i've had more fun with big rigs than a lot of games that were better made, so i suppose that counts

Seconded, actually came here to post this.
Deadly Premonition was so obscenely bad that it's an absolute cult classic. Most games are bad, meaning it's a chore to play them, as they suffer from completely broken mechanics. However, for whatever reason, DP had extremely fun mechanics for no reason. You had a million options while driving a car, for instance, that mirrored controls in real life cars, but you could only go like 55mph. It was just downright silly, and the narrative was a straight ripoff of Twin Peaks, which already attracts a crowd of people who are interested in kitsch, off-kilter things. Because of all this weird shit, and the fact that it managed to be a sandbox game (for the most part) without being a GTA clone makes it truly unique, memorable, and fun, while still being a terrible fucking game.
