Half the characters have no movement tricks and move at the pace of a swift walk. It's so fucking slow I can't deal with it.

The walk of shame is a deterrent for dying.
There's no long respawn timer so the slow walk back is basically penalizing you for death.
It's not too fun, especially on hanamura attack side, because I have never had a single decent attack team on that map. Every fucking time it's like 2 tracers or McRees and no one wants to play tanks or support.

This game fucking sucks if solo or with one friend. You lose every game because your dumb ass team mates decides to pick meme heroes instead of a competent selection. You're left playing the only tank while there's 2 reapers, 2 hanzos, and a tracer. God forbid someone plays a fucking healer that isn't Deejay with roller skates. Tanks can absorb quite a bit of damage but without a healer you can't fully capture an objective. Even with a healer you have to depend on your fucking retards to kill the people focusing you, but they're too busy fighting that one guy messing around in our spawn or die to the impossible-to-not-see Widowmaker. Fuck this game is so infuriating. There's no character you can play well enough to kill enemies AND capture the objective because you'll likely die trying to achieve either. Also, why the fuck is Zenyatta slower than most tanks?

Anyone have issues with Shadowplay recordings in Overwatch?
I have my Shadow record set to previous 1 minute, but whenever I use it I get a popup saying the that my recording saved the previous 36-37 seconds, and when I check the resulting file it is 1 minute long but the first 23-24 seconds are completely corrupted pixel explosions and the last 36-37 seconds are fine.

You mean Spy? Even at high level play, Engineer is a defensive backbone, and an offensive one as well, especially on attack/defend gamemodes. You don't see him very often in competitive but that's only because teams are limited to 6 players, there's just no room for him. Unless you're defending something that's extremely defensible, ie the last cap or final terminus on a payload map, you're better off with the extra Scoot/Soldier/Sniper/whatever

I also complained about the short matches. Matches last 10 minutes and then there is 5 minutes of filler between them. I would rather matches go 20 minutes or so, preferably with teams of 8 instead of 6. The game and maps are clearly based around low numbers of heroes and short matches though.

It's not, though. While there are characters who have direct equivalents, most of them are taking elements from TF2 classes and then adding their own flair. Hell, some of them have no similarities, like Lucio and McCree.
Also, on a side note, I'm fucking sick of how many weapons are in TF2 now. Whenever I see a Pharah on the enemy team, I know exactly what she can do and what I can counter with. Tracer is an annoying cunt, especially if you are playing a class she just dominates, but with such low health and low ammo count I don't think she really needs a nerf.
I think Bastion's sentry turret mode needs to chill the fuck out though. Maybe make it 150 ammo instead of 200, and cause it to overheat if it's just held down. 200 rounds with no diminishing returns is a bit insane.
Also, how do you play D.Va? Once she is out of her mech she is pretty worthless, and as far as I can tell the only way to get your mech about is to get your Ult or die. Wouldn't it be better just to sacrifice yourself to get back into the mech instead of wasting time running around not doing much to help?

You know what is very similar to what I'm talking about? Fighting games. If I'm fighting a Ryu online, I know what his moves are and what I can do against them because I learned it over time. Bastion needs a rework. Recon form is such total hot garbage, that Turret actually has to be overpowered to compenstate for not being a hero when your not a sentry. So Recon should get an overhaul that makes the character viable outside of turret mode, then turret gets toned down fire rate, accuracy lowers over extended periods of firing, and maybe even add an overheating component.
He just needs Recon form to be not shit, even if you have to give him a new ability. Get rid of self-repair, add a new skill that does X in Recon, and Y in Turret.

Roadhog is a badass, but the majority of offense characters can 1v1 him if you have the ability to dodge his hook. McCree, Tracer and Soldier 76 can fuck him up. Pharah can also poke him completely out of his range. Genji and Reaper are probably the worst against him, but even Genji can still long range poke him. The offense characters are far better at damage dealing than tanks. However, you get a Mercy healing these fat fucks and it's a completely different story. The healing in this game is insane.
I've been playing paragon a lot and I think it's fun. Is this better? First person MOBA sounds lame.

Zenyatta is like the jarate but on a class that actually deserves a debuff ability. It's a really strong pub pick ability because everyone loves double damage. He also does crazy damage with his charge ability plus discord.
Lucio though is the most fun support you'll ever play. you control the entire battlefield with your speed boosts. People just instinctively know when to retreat and smash peoples face in when you speed boost them. It's really nice.
Other two are boring shit characters that bank on their team mates dieing or taking damage.

If you're good at leading the projectiles you can deal absolutely incredible damage. Especially if you use a Discord Orb first to multiply the damage (which by the way is instant and has no cooldown).

The thing about Tracer's Rewind, Wraith, Mei, 76's heal, etc is that their effectiveness falls off in group fights. If you are paying attention, you can telegraph Rewind, Wraith, Mei gets fucked after cube is over.
Dead Ringer was basically a free second life. It also turned ammo packs into secondary health packs for spies.

It does not effect turn speed. Again, increase the time it takes to freeze and maybe for the slow to take effect, but that is it.
The wall is already easy to break apart, and block only heals about 60% of her HP and leaves her vulnerable afterwards because she is just as slow as everyone else and her only "movement" skill requires somewhere to run to after going up with the wall
