When I was younger and played Friends of Mineral Town, it actually got me into trying to grow some tomatoes and carrots on my own. The tomatoes came out great but the carrots got infested with aphids and didn't grow.

This is a good game, but it is very flawed all the same. Some shit is outright broken while other things are pointless, the social system is just downright boring, has always been my least favorite aspect of harvest moon and I wish they would have changed it. That being said I played this shit way too much for like three days before dropping it. It's addictive as hell but after I started to have more money than god I realized it's flaws
