She is seriously unkillable. If you run into her and over half your team isn't with you, the only thing you can do is run away and hope you don't get stunned and killed.

Just kill her sunspot and her damage output becomes like that of a wet noodle. Nobody gets that her sunspot is the threat, not her. If you ever see two Ambra players fight, they will immediately go for each others sunspots because they know, unlike everybody else.
What's actually OP is the skill that gives her a massive speed boost on low health AND an overshield. She is almost impossible to kill.

He really does but either way I don't know why they label him a "skirmisher" because he can't really secure kills or 1v1 offsite. I think he needs a buff to both his TMP and energy blade. His energy blade seems like such an integral part of his character but I don't see the point of ever using it unless you confine yourself to that lifesteal mutation for it. I was thinking after landing a melee hit with the blade, his TMP gains a damage bonus for a short time and it's stackable depending on how many times the energy blade hits the enemy. They need to rework him or something because he really is not that fun to play.

Most items add abysmally tiny bonuses to your character, and the ones that don't are really expensive. Turrets and super minions are very important, and give you exp for building them, unlike items.

I just finished a story mission with a Robot-sniper(forgot the name) that didnt use his sniper ONCE. A couple characters get lifesteal.
The two I know of is Ambra and Rath
Ambra has an innate lifesteal tether beam primary attack. When people inevitably ignore her sunspots crippling them, her lifeleech becomes quite significant.
Rath has an upgrade that gives either his regular attacks or skills lifesteal. The former is better and you can do a lot of bullshit with it. Namely hogging all the camps in incursion to your team and killing anybody who tries to stop you because you're Rath.
So do you think the game is balanced? I played quite a bit on ps4 and am currently rank 45. I've played every character for a few matches and besides a few most of them felt at least somewhat balanced and could be used well if you play to their strengths.

Deande Attikus and Rath are all melee characters with life steal abilities. Deande and Rath are not very tanky but can do very good damage. Rath probably has the most life steal capability of any melee character

Get his legendary gear m8. It reduces all active cooldowns by 1 second for every rocket that hits an enemy while shot in midair. Other than that, I run reload speed and attack speed. Maybe shield penetration if I choose the augment that does extra Hawkeye damage to shields. To maximize damage done to the player's health.

My impression is that it's like all of gearbox's games.
The writing and 'humor', if you can call it that, are awful. When i was playing through the story missions my character wouldn't shut the fuck up and neither would the NPCs who had to chime in every few minutes to make a shitty joke.
The character designs are pretty boring and uninspired for the vast majority, if not all, of the cast. Same with the personalities. That sort of comes with the territory of having a lot of characters, but they should have tried harder at least on the designs since characters are really what sell a game like this.
Much like borderlands the gameplay doesn't seem at all balanced, with some characters being far and away better than others. There also isn't any weight to what you do. When you melee somebody it doesn't feel like you're connecting with something solid even if you are. It's kind of hard to explain but you can probably get the idea.
Graphics wise it's also nothing special, just looks like a bit more polished borderlands aesthetic which didn't look good in the first place so i don't know why they stuck with it.

Melka is a skirmisher. Play her as a hit and run get in fuck shit up poison some bitches then get out type of character. Get the upgrades that propel her back and use it to bounce off of melee attackers that get to close. Do the oppisite on ranged attackers and hit them with a poison nade then get close and do increased melee damage cause of the venom.
Make sure to spam your venom grenade and reload often to poison people and keep shields off. Go for the slowing upgrade on spike and the parting gift that leaves a pool of acid behind then go into the middle of a group of minions and poison slow and wipe out the entire group. Thats also good if you can flank behind a group of ranged battleborn.
Most important of all is learn how far your abilities propel you. Mellka's abilities are all about mobility and getting in and out of a fight so if you need to evade someone on your ass jump drop a spike and leap up to a ledge to get away. Or use claw lunge to beat a speedy retreat.

Really like Phoebe, El Dragon, and Shayne so far. I've only played Ambra post nerf, but holy shit she's amazing. Really good in extended siege situations. She has some of the best lines too.

Use your stun to fuck over people who overextend. Also its a great escape tool so when you level it up, put anything that extends the duration and reduces cooldown into it.. You hit really hard and due to your tankyness, you can box any melee hitter and completely deny them from pushing forward with your mere presence and if they use their ultimate simply wisp away/ wisp them.
Chomp minions to get max health. Use ice wall to wall people off from escaping/area denial (ultimates are on a pretty low cooldown in general so don't be stingy)
Get any loadout that reduces shields since he doesn't use any (barely), movement speed and damage reduction.
You still have problems with Marquis (everyone does, fuck him, he should get nerfed) and anybody with good range so try not to mess with them cause even with the natural damage reduction they can still fuck you up while you have no way of really getting to them.

Money will probably be the killer of this game. Overwatch is standing right next to it, not having announced any sort of DLC packs or anything, letting all of its characters be free. Battleborn on the other hand has their season pass available at launch for it's fucking map packs, and maps are what this game needs the most right now. Each mode only has 2 at launch.
It's not just that Overwatch is more popular, it's that it's cheaper as well. Gearbox doesn't really have a good reputation when it comes to not fucking you over with money grubbing. Blizzard really doesn't either, but nobody seems to give a shit anymore.
I liked it a lot more than I thought, hell I even enjoyed Doom beta. I bought both and eagerly await both to launch. Once those come out then I'm just waiting for E3.

Thought this game was going to be complete ass. Left surprisingly impressed. Actually enjoy it more than Overwatch and Doom at the moment. Although Overwatch is in better shape, I just don't enjoy the gameplay that much. The PvE missions are a little too long for my taste. Still think it's overpriced though, especially with the DLC.

I love it when people forget that OM can do pretty decent damage from long range, and the shield penetrating rounds are fun to pick off retreaters with.
That Rath was fucking ruthless though, I feel like aside from cloaking and running like a bitch, OM has no good way to deal with him if he gets close.
So in Battleborn, you have to choose 1 unique character from your teammates, meaning you have to main at least 5 in case your other 4 gets taken.

Start with sticky bomb slow, that does a majority of the work.
Later pick up the shotgun on hit gives rifle bonus damage so it's useful.
Get acog, you need it to finish off runners.
Get mutation that gives you 300 health regeneration on kill
Other then that pretend it's quake and don't stop moving, weave in melee hits as you dance around them.

Not him, but cloaking behind enemy lines and dropping an airstrike/nade on unsuspecting players can really break a defensive line, assuming your teammates see it. Which is a pretty big assumption desu.

The win 5 rounds ones are pretty easy, so you get access to a reasonably varied roster, but I don't understand why they aren't all just unlocked from the get-go since it's not F2P.

Miko is a healer with a DoT lifesteal on top of it on her basic attack so you can put that shit on everyone in the enemy team and have a retarded regen on top of your healing skills.
