I got my new pc with my new cpu and fancy ass memory and had to rma it because of a defect in the motherboard so I put this big ass gpu in my 6 year old system
and it ran just about as well aside from some loading times due to my shitty old cpu
well over 100 fps in any game I threw at it
it made me wonder why I even bought a new cpu, ram, mobo since everything is gpu based now

Don't feel very compelled to upgrade right now, these recent AAA games were all awful with terrible optimization (or lack of thereof).
This and I just discovered that I could always emulate a bunch of games that I've never played for my gaming fix.
