Saint's Row 4 is Saint's Row 3: Fun Edition.

Both are fun. I would go with 3 though.

Go for 4, 3 is pretty bad

If you're going to play an SR title past 2 then just grab 4. 4's superpower gimmick can be a lot of fun. 3 is just a shittier version of 2. And, if you haven't already then go pick up SR2 and play that as well. It's the best out of the entire series.

They are both awful. 3 is better unless you like decimating the game without trying.

It can run SR3 and SR4 just fine. From what I can tell after a little research, it's widely regarded as a bad port. Only reason I have it at all is because I bought the Saints Row Complete Pack 2ish years ago.

On a PS4 SR4 became prone to crashes and occasionally had slowdown issues once I'd gotten halfway through the game - the porting job of the game is ass.

Gat Out of Hell was surprisingly good. The super-powers were actually more balanced than SR4 and the flying was better too.

It was also nice to see Gat actually kicking ass after 4 games being told what a badass he is off-screen.
