To be able to pull off tattoos I think you need to be a person that looks good with tattoos and has good taste. MC ride has great tattoos, they work for his look and aren't obvious, cringey shit. If you don't care and just do it because you want to then more power to you, but you should at least educate yourself before getting them so you're satisfied with the end product.
I'd study art fundamentals, look at tattoos similar to what I was getting, and pick apart the work of the artists that might be giving me the tattoo.

It was done well but it was the symbol from their A Matter of Life and Death and i kept getting associated with military. Anyways I planned to get a cover up and decided to go with a wolf cause fuck it, favorite animal. Needed an image large enough to cover the tat so used the Wolf Medallion from the Witcher cause it looked cool and fits. Scared to post pics because the mean people of /v/ will hurt my feelings.
