as soon as don mattrick got hired microsoft made some retarded decisions that really hurt the 360. while sony managed to get more exclusives and releasing the ps3 slim also helped as well.

360 obviously had a more consistent run and a huge head start
but by the end PS3 was the console to go with. I know many more people who have and use PS3s than I do with 360s.

PS3. i hate to give sony credit but the fact that they managed to turn the ps3 around and manage to sell 80+ million units is incredible. i remember when people legitimately believed that the ps3 was the last console from sony when it was originally launched.

Pretty much this although I like the 360 a bit more, PS3 still had a fantastic turn-around though and it's really sad to see that Microsoft went full casual during the last couple years.
