Also, OP, there wasn't anything that really came out of note this month so the bar isn't that high. QB is the only thing that came out, and it was alright. It's definitely more on the level of Alan Wake than Max Payne.
And how good R&C is depends on if you played through the first game, or just read a plot summary of the first game. If the latter, it's a much better game because so much of it is retreading.
Overall, shit month, but you're probably right. Even if you played R&C original, R&C16 is still the best feeling R&C to date. Feels so good to swing a wrench and all the weapons are pretty balanced and none feel completely useless.
Honestly, the particle/object effects make me feel like R&C16 is just Knack with actual gameplay. All dem bolts, yo.

I'm playing through it right now. I'm only halfway through, but it honestly feels like Dark Souls 2-2, which isn't a stellar praise by any means. In a world where DeS and DaS and BB don't exist, I would have given it credit for merely existing, but we're getting flooded with Souls and Souls clone games, so any advantage the Souls series normally gets is gone in my book. My stack-up is DaS>DeS>BB>DaS3>DaS2
R&C and QB are better games.
Ratchet and Clank is pretty good for the price whether or not you prefer the newer ones or the older ones. I don't understand the problem here.
