I'm using a 780 which i'll give you is getting a bit out dated now but i still run the game at a solid 60 on high

Sorry to break the news to you but its the game. I'm running it fine (for now) with a GTX 670 but it crashed on me once and I had framerate issues that magically got fixed after a reboot.
They shipped a broken game and that is normal nowadays. People should be upset. For some reason that has become the norm for software development. Just because you have no problems does not make the problems reported by hundreds of people not true.

if you have stutters it can be gameoverlay in the steam folder that causes it. check the gameoverlay.log or .txt file and see how big it..if it's 500mb+ you have a bug with steam where it spams several hundred lines per second when youre playing DS3, causing stutters. just remove the .dll files from the folder and put it back when youre done playing DS3.

DaS3 is so fucking weird.
On release I had no problems at all, running 60fps with everything max.
Day after I crash within seconds of loading the game, until I change lighting to low.
Then I just crash at random times and any form of summoning or invading crashes me.
Today not a single crash in like 5 hours of play, summoning and invading work fine.
I did notice that today when I loaded up the game I had no errors connecting to the server. Whereas the times ive crashed it always fails a couple of times before logging in and letting me play.

today its a complete disable of the computer. needed to force restart it with power button.

So spending money now means you're competent at managing and fixing problems with your PC? You don't need to get a PC anon but it offers a lot of shit that consoles don't havea million more games and mods for exampleand most of the problems you have on PC are solvable.
I have literally never in my life failed to make a game work on my system and I've played primarily on PC for 6-7 years now. This includes new and old games as well as popular and obscure ones. The only time a game just can't work even with fan made patches or mods is if there's something wrong with the game itself and usually they patch shit like that.

I actually didn't have any crashes so far. Playing on a 750 ti (30 FPS, High settings), but made a lot of damage control configuration before actually playing.
