Wasn't absolute crap, but the fusing system was the most overcomplicated piece of shit that wasn't even fun. I understood it, but it was still fucking stupid.And at level 40ish I was still receiving tutorial skits, mostly for things I'd been doing already for the last 10 levels.
I had fun playing it, but it was kinda a mess of issues that had no relation to the waifu bullshit. Well other than Alisha never catching a break and getting shit on the entire game.
Pirated it and played the first few hours.
There are several reasons why I wouldn't buy it.

Intro song is cool though, and I was enjoying playing the game while pretending that the MC was an insane person who saw imaginary people that don't actually exist (though I doubt this would last), but the gameplay was so offputting that I dropped it real quick.

Alisha joins your party early on to help investigate some things going wrong in the kingdom. It turns out that she is the princess of that land.
You find evidence that the local government is incredibly corrupt. As well as evidence of them trying to hire an assassin to kill Alisha.
The people who help uncover the plot is the team of ninja assassins they planned on hiring. The leader of the ninja assassins is. Well,is neither a skilled ninja, nor are they stealthy enough to actually one-shot enemies. In fact, they are pretty damn weak. That weak ninja leader replaces Rose, whom chooses to go back to the corrupt kingdom and back to the guys that plan to have her killed. There is a point in the game where Rose joins again, but fast travel is disabled and she only joins for a small portion.
