Even Homoshit moved to Youtube for their videos, though they also crashed Newgrounds about 3 years ago so that was also a factor. Flash has completely stagnated and can't do any of the fancy shit you can do in Premiere, After Effects, Toonboom and whatever, so all big animators dropped it and moved to video sites.
Flash games got killed by greedy indie jews and better software likeUnity.Mobile was definitely one of the biggest factors in killing Flash, since it ran like shit in the beginning of the mobile transition and it's still kind of a pain for normies to get support for it, not like they care about it anymore.
The other points are really sad, the web was made up of a bunch of tiny sites, some bigger than others but the little guys still had decent enough traffic and communities. Now it's all big name corporate sites.

Well I used to post on SA way back when, and I had a blast. Now I look at the choices for gaming forums and it's pitiful, there's nothing worthwhile. One might argue that a forum is fated to be shit, but I think it's possible that there just isn't a good place to begin with. Maybe it's just a matter of getting the right conditions right.
