Alright, /v/, I think it's finally time I retire my 560Ti. Dark Souls 3 runs at around 30 fps for me on low and I just can't do it. What's the current best bang for the buck card? I'd prefer to stick with Nvidia. I've had nothing but bad experiences with ATI/AMD cards

I would also prefer aftermarket coolers. I like my cards cool and quiet. Last card with a stock cooler I had sounded like a jet engine.

the best performance to cost card right now is the 380, if you want to go nvidia you can get the 960 which is the equivalent, but its really not as good. 950 or 970 would be better

Has AMD got their shit together with drivers? The Catalyst Control Panel was a joke when I had one. I frequently use the Nvidia control panel to have unique settings for different games. The last AMD card I had you only had one global setting

960 has a tiny memory bus and the 970 has gimped vram capacity.
Get a 390. It's on par with the 980 at the moment and has a clear advantage in DX12 over nvidia.
