Normal playthrough is probably about 20-30 hours depending on how many side quests you do.

You're going to have to balance your choices carefully so you don't go too far law/chaos. There's a person that you can talk to that will tell you your current alignment, but they don't show up for a while. Honestly using a guide is probably your best bet. Certain decisions weigh more than others. They use an alignment points system that you can't see and the neutral ending requires you to be in a very small number range.
I initially got Law but luckily I was neutral enough in my save before the ending section start (the entire end part of the game changes, not just a cutscene) that I was able to go back and change some answers and do challenge quests

Flynn isn't Papenbrook. I don't know why the Wiki says that. Flynn sounds nothing like any of Papenbrook's previous roles or any of the voices on his demo reels. It's hard to tell with so few clips, but I think he's Acaba, going by how similar Etrian 1 Untold's Highlander sounds to him.
