As a fan of wipeout, yes it's worth 20$. It's true a beta, they keeping tweaking the ship handle with the feedback from player and since january they have a good update speed

1 - Can you go fast?
2 - Are mid-air barrel rolls that give boosts still a thing?

Yes you can go really fast, but the airbreak are a bit weird to get.
No mid-air barrel rolls for now, maybe later once the basic handling become definitive

I hope they put it back along with airbreak shifting. The game looks good, I just hope they make crazier tracks that allow for more air time. Wipeout lacked that, but the little bit of airborne moments it had were always great.

Eh, didn't like the looks of that game that much. The boost gimmicks seem unecessary and the physics seem too stiff. I also don't have a wiiu because >wiiu

Fast Racing Neo wasn't too bad for the price, but how nearly every track has some kind of forced hazard and that Hero mode isn't available in multi is a bit of a letdown. Not a fan of the orbs either.
Apparently Shinen is now working on a handheld racer, we might get something like it for 3DS
