ITT: The first video game you remember playing
Pic related, I was 3.
My city's airport had a kiosk in the kids' play area set up with N64s, and this game was on all of them.
Only thing I remember is being confused by the controller and never leaving the castle grounds.

Got this, an original Game Boy and a few other games for it from a pawn shop when I was a kid.

at a family gathering my cousins 4 years older than me (I was 5) wouldn't let me play this; first video game I remember seeing though
Later one of them who also had assburgers tried to drown me in the pool.
First video game I actually played was probably super mario all stars and maybe super mario world; I got the SNES as a hand-me-down from the aunt hosting the family gather as a "sorry you almost drowned" thing (she wasn't actually parent of the aspie though so I dont know how that works) so it all works out.

First game I remember playing was Galaga when I was 5-6.
The NES was still fairly new, so my parents didn't want to drop the $200 on it, and I really didn't know about it until some family friends came over and their son brought his system.
We ended up playing for the better part of the day, Dad even got in on it a bit and did pretty damn well at both Galaga and SMB.
The next time they came over, there was an imported SMB3 cartridge in the mix. We couldn't understand any of the text, but we did discover the Mario Bros. mini-game by accident.
