In it, Slyvanas decides to hold a promise she made to herself right around TFT that once Arthas had paid for his crimes, she would end her own torment. It's been established that there's only one Burning Legion and one Twisting Nether outside of Time, Space, Reality and all that other fun stuff.
Also it's established that when a demon dies, it's soul gets sent back to the Twisting Nether where eventually it will be reborn. That way it could be implied he lost his sanity due to old god influence and it would set them up as the real major villain. That is my main quarrel with "Chronicle".
