Bigger numbers don't add anything. The fact that we continue to implement it just because it "feels good" is one of the reasons the state of the MMO genre is so irredeemably shit. Making a huge world but only having 1% of it be used at any one time (because that's where the best shit drops) is not only extremely wasteful in terms of content creation, but is really a bad way to design a game that's meant to keep people playing over long periods of time. Everyone complains about how little there is to do in the game, but in actual fact there is shitloads to do, it's just that people are not incentivized to do anything except a very tiny fragment of the total content.

I'm on Hyperion which is a legacy server in the Primal cluster. Pretyt much 4/5 DF's are shitters who argue/play bad/mess with each other. The PF has about 1-3 troll groups in it and then 4-5 others that always demand you be farm status for everything. Everyone instantly trolls/talks shit on shout or any channel.
I've had freinds claim that on Midgardsormr, and Lich they hardly see any of these behaviors: That the PF is usually pretty clean and has learning groups. That people they DF with are decent 90% of the time and fights dont happen often.
Is it at all true? Is it the presence of a Legacy server that makes DF stressful? Does anyone have some experience on diff servers/data centers and can tell me about this?

Alright this is going to sound shitty but from level 8 to level 26 90% of your gameplay is using nothing but Impulse Drive. At this point it does more damage than the combo they've given you. Other than that you just keep your heavy thrust up, make sure you do it from the correct position, that is a good habit to get into, and using leg sweep any time it is available.
To become a Dragoon you are required to level Marauder to 15 so make sure you do that. You can also level Pugilist up to 12 to gain access to some Cross Class skills

PLD can still get close to a WARs DPS if you dont play it like shit and optimize your stance dancing and flight or flight usage. Not to mention a PLD doesn't actually mitigate more than a WAR does.

Reprisal has a very high uptime, they just need a single parry and its up for 20 seconds after that. In the course of any fight a reprisal will mitigate way more aoe damage than divine veil thats for fucking certain.

Royal authority and gording blade ticks on top of the 50 potency auto attack from sword oath all equate out to what warriors do with maim, deliverance and the occasional fell cleaves.
What makes WAR pull ahead is being able to do 3 fell cleaves with berserk where fight or flight buffs two goring blades and two royals in the meantime on top of not wasting gcds to stance dance, which is suppose to be made up with shield swipe and spirits within.
PLD only does slightly less than WAR on paper, in practice the lack of aoe dps and lack of synergy hurt PLD a lot. Not to mention crit and det dont impact PLD like it does WAR
Its still fairly balanced, it sucks that PLD does less dps than WAR but they do have blocking, a healing ability, veil and cover.

Fellow DRG here. I have no idea a lot of people probably think it looks cool or like the class in other FF games. I've started seeing where the stigma comes from while doing pugs for seph EX except for on 1 occasion anytime another DRG ended up in the party they were always dying and I was out DPSing them in inferior gear.
I've seen people actually say DRG is one of the harder classes, its really not especially if you have any sort of previous MMO experience. I wish I would have saved it but there's a picture that pops up in these threads showing a DRG doing almost nothing but his basic TT,VT,FT combo and only can get that right half the time.

On a side note, A7S is comparatively a huge letdown as a dps, nothing in there is particularly hard to do all, dps checks are nonexistent - especially on the things you think would be hard like the heart or padlocks/adds.
It's basically pass the tether/prey correctly and wait till your healers have their healing sorted out.

I had to play around with the key bindings a lot to get something comfortable. This is my current key binding setup for the first 5 in each row. Row 1 is no button modifier, row 2 is shift+number, 3 is ALT, and 4 is CTRL. I have one of my two left mouse buttons mapped in a profile to CTRL because holding control felt super awkward in the middle of fights. I'm guilty of clicking a few skills but its really only invigorate and internal release. Anything else I click for are seldom used and not part of the rotation. I've been thinking of using my second side mouse button for another row of bindings.

Seph ex is not bad once you learn the fight. Its heavily scripted and his pattern of ability and when he uses them are exactly the same everytime. The only RNG elements are which debuff color you get and who gets targeted with earthshakers but those are easily manageable mechanics if your not a retard. I went through shitty learning parties just to see the fight and now I can practically do it in my sleep.
