Also consider playing at an arcade. That's how you learn to play better. That sounds like bullshit, but it's how I learned to do crossovers well.

It has its limits, but it's perfect for intermediate play. You'll still need to find a way to tuck them if you want perfect stability, but since they're basically solid it has to be much easier than with a soft pad.

California. I live in a small town that's 3 hours from Las Vegas and 3 hours from Los Angeles, traffic willing. Arcades have basically dried up or have been entirely been replaced by hunting games and claw machines.
