The beginning of WOTLK was one of the best times to play WoW. Exploring Northrend for the first time is pure ecstasy.

Wotlk was probably my favorite expansion too. It kept the core gameplay of the original and improved upon it. The atmosphere was the best, i loved the snow and undead themes, zones like icecrown and storm peaks felt epic and huge unlike anything else in the game. Then they went full retard with cata, erasing the base game and removing any motivation to group up with other players.
