Back on topic, though, yes, MP2 is the worst of the series. It's not a terrible game, but it's definitely the weakest in the series. Max Payne should've never had sequels, to be quite honest.

Will there ever be another shooter that is better mechanically than Max Payne 3? The physics, the visceral gore, the way the guns sound and feel, the bullet damage and enemy reactions, environmental destruction to damage around it, the shootdodge and bullet time add a layer of complexity. It's the fucking perfect third person shooter. Its mechanics are top notch and way ahead of its time.

The only negative is the unskippable cutscenes, but you can just play arcade or new york minute.
